Manage Creator Payments. Keep Earnings Clear.
Manage creator campaign payments and track earnings with Wooly. Understand payment status, approval requirements, and the payout process.
- Creator payments on Wooly are tied to the campaign. Brands secure collab money before creators start, and it is released when the work is approved. Creators follow every amount from pending to paid, and payouts go to their Stripe account once a month.
- Create a free brand or creator account to get started. No credit card required.
How brands fund creator work
- Collab money is paid upfront by card through Stripe and secured before any creator starts. Recurring Jobs are charged month by month.
- Wooly’s collab fee is added on top of the creator budget: 20% without a plan, 10% on Growth, 7% on Scale and 5% on Enterprise.
- Refunds return the creator budget; once a collab is live, the fee is kept.
When creator earnings become available
- Money is released when the brand approves the work. If the brand does not respond, the work is approved automatically after 7 days.
- Brands can ask for revisions, two rounds by default and up to three. If something goes wrong, either side can report a problem and the amount is put on hold while Wooly’s team reviews it.
Payout timing and method
- Creators are paid automatically once a month, on the 15th, by Stripe Connect transfer to their own Stripe account, in USD. Balances under $100 roll over to the next month.
- Wooly keeps a 3% payout fee from each payout. Stripe supports creator payouts in more than 80 countries.
Paid jobs vs affiliate commissions
- Collab jobs are prepaid and released on approval. Affiliate commissions are earned on tracked sales, reviewed by the brand and paid after the brand’s 30 or 60 day payment terms.
- Both reach the same creator balance and the same monthly payout.
Creator Payments & Payouts, explained
- How do brands pay creators on Wooly? For collabs, the brand pays upfront by card when publishing. The money is secured on Wooly and released to the creator when the brand approves the work. Affiliate commissions are paid by the brand each month after review.
- When do creator earnings become available? Collab earnings are released when the brand approves the work, or automatically after 7 days without a response. Released money joins the creator’s balance and is paid on the next 15th once the balance reaches $100.
- Where can creators check their payout status? In Earnings & Payouts in the creator workspace: Pending, Payable Balance, Next Payout and Total Earnings, plus every payout with its status, gross amount, fee and net amount.
- What fees apply? Brands pay Wooly’s collab fee on top of the creator budget: 20% without a plan, 10% on Growth, 7% on Scale, 5% on Enterprise. Creators have a 3% payout fee kept from each payout. Joining is free for both.
- What is the difference between a paid job and an affiliate commission? A paid job is a fixed amount secured before work starts and released on approval. An affiliate commission is earned when a tracked sale or action happens, reviewed by the brand, and paid after its payment terms.
- Does signing up pay me anything? No. Joining is free, but earnings only come from approved collab work or accepted affiliate commissions.
